Many people try to find eternal life and truth, and ask many questions to their Pastor. But all they say is, “Believe in Jesus’ name and you will enter Heaven.” However, you can never enter Heaven with that belief.

The Bible says “there is only one God,” but the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) claims that there is God the Mother as well. For this reason, some might think the Church of God has a strange doctrine which is not based on the Bible. However, people have been deceived by a liar that there is only God the Father.
one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all… (Ephesians 4:5-6)
The only Father we have is God himself. (John 8:41)
It’s true that there is one God: but it’s about God the Father. There is only one God the Father. However, there is also God the Mother in the Bible. In fact, the whole 66 books of the Scriptures prove the existence of God the Mother. Let’s see the book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness… (Genes 1:26)
When God created human beings, God said, “Let us make man in our image…” If there is only one God, it should be “Let me make man in my image…” Why did God say, “Let us make man…”? Some claims that it’s because Trinity God created man. But such people do not even know the meaning of the “Trinity.” Trinity refers to one God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are one God (please refer to this page for the true meaning of the Trinity.) Let’s see the next verse to know why God said “Let us make man in our image.”
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)
God created man in the image of God and male and female came out, which means there are the male image of God and the female image of God. Like this, the Bible clearly testifies about the female image of God: God the Mother. Those who deny God the Mother claim, “If God were plural, why is God mentioned as ‘He’?” For this argument, please refer to this page.
There may be someone who asks, “I have never heard about God the Mother for decades of years. Why do you insist that there is God the Mother now?” You know, everything has its time (Ecclesiastes 3:1.) It’s prophesied that God the Mother is supposed to appear in the last days. Now the time has come when we should seek and believe in God the Mother.
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life [eternal life]. (Revelation 22:17)
The Spirit is God the Father according to the Trinity. And the bride is the Heavenly Jerusalem (Revelation 21:9-10) and the Heavenly Jerusalem is our Mother [God the Mother] (Galatians 4:26.) Some claim that the bride is the saints. However, the bride is to give us the water of life along with the Spirit. We, sinners cannot give eternal life to other sinners. Only God can. Moreover, the saints are referred to as “those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19:9.) Therefore, the bride is not the saints but God the Mother who gives us the water of life along with God the Father. (There are some absurd rumors about God the Mother. According to the prophecies of the Bible, Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother have already come as the Spirit and the bride to save mankind to give us the water of life. Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the new covenant which had disappeared for more than 1,600 years and revealed the spring of living water: God the Mother.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways may ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9)
How many people have read the Bible for several thousand years! But no one except Christ Ahnsahnghong revealed the existence of God the Mother. Really, Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Today, most Christians think that the world will be ended when Christ comes again. Most churches made doctrines based on such idea that the Second Coming and the final judgment will take place at the same time. However, it’s differently written in the Bible.
At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:27-28)
Does it say that the world will be judged and ended when Jesus comes in a cloud? (No.) It says, “Stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” What if the clouds with which Jesus comes are not the natural clouds of the sky? People who think Jesus will come in a cloud will not be able to receive Him and will not be saved. The word “clouds” with which Jesus comes is a parable and means the flesh. We can know this by studying the First Coming Jesus. It’s prophesied that the First Coming Christ was also to come with the clouds of heaven.
“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him… (Daniel 7:13-14)
Some claim that it’s a prophecy about the Second Coming of Jesus. However, it’s obvious that it’s a prophecy about the First Coming Christ because Jesus Himself was given authority (Matthew 28:18), glory (John 17:10) and sovereign power (Luke 22:29.) But, did Jesus really come with the natural clouds of heaven? (No, He didn’t.) He was born as a man. Therefore, the clouds with which Jesus comes are a Biblical expression: to come with the clouds of heaven means to come in the flesh. (Please refer to this page “Cloud and Flesh” for this topic.)
2,000 years ago, the Jews were waiting for their Messiah coming with the clouds of heaven. But, Jesus was teaching in their synagogues before they knew it. They failed to receive Christ by looking up the sky. Surprisingly, the same history repeats today. Most Christians are looking at the clouds of the sky to meet Christ. However, the Second Coming Christ has already come in the flesh before they knew it. Then, why is He supposed to come in the flesh before the final judgment? It’s because the truth of the new covenant established by Jesus disappeared during the Dark Ages.
I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man [the Second Coming Jesus] comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)
The phrase “Will he find faith on the earth?” means “He cannot find any faith on the earth.” All Christians think they have faith, but they have no faith in the eyes of God. Jesus established the Passover of the New Covenant by saying “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover” (Luke 22:15.) However, most Christians say that they do not want to keep it. Instead, they keep Christmas which originated from a pagan festival for celebrating the birth of sun-god. And Jesus observed the Sabbath day, as was his custom (Luke 4:16) and the disciples including the Apostle Paul also kept the Sabbath day by following the example of Jesus (Acts 17:2; 18:4.) But, most churches worship on Sunday, the day of Sun. Sunday and Christmas are man-made rules, which cannot lead us to the kingdom of heaven. For this reason, it’s prophesied that Christ would appear a second time to bring salvation (Heb 9:27-28). Therefore, we cannot get salvation without meeting and receiving the Second Coming Christ who comes in the flesh in this age. Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the new covenant including the Passover and the Sabbath day for our salvation. Today, no churches but the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) observe the New Covenant established by Jesus and restored by Christ Ahnsahnghong. Please look into the Bible and meet Christ Ahnsahnghong who has already come on the clouds of sky according to the prophecy of the Bible.
The Bible contains a serious of mysteries which are hard to understand in the eyes of humans. God said, “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge of God” (Hosea 4:2; 4:6.) Really, many people believe in God, but most do not have correct knowledge of God. The Apostle Paul said that the mystery of God is Christ (Colossians 2:2.) All Christians (and even non-believers) might say that they know Christ. But, why did Paul say that the mystery of God is Christ? It’s because Christ is to come in the flesh. The prophet Hosea prophesied that we should seek King David to receive blessings in the last days.
Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days. (Hosea 3:5)
Since the book of Hosea was written about 250 years after David’s death, David in Hosea 3:5 is not the physical David, the 2nd king of Judah, but the spiritual David who is to appear in the last days.
Why is the spiritual David to come?
Then, why is the spiritual David to come in the last days? It’s because the truth of the new covenant made by Jesus disappeared during the Dark Ages. Jesus established the Passover of the New Covenant for the forgiveness of sins.
So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover… While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this [the Passover bread] is my body.” Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This [The Passover wine] is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:17-28)
Jesus declared the Passover as the New Covenant in His blood (Luke 22:20.) He even said, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you” (Luke 22:15.) We can understand how important the Passover is. However, the Passover was abolished in 325 AD and the way to the kingdom of heaven disappeared since then. So, the Apostle John wept and wept to know that the truth of the new covenant would be destroyed.
Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides [the Bible] and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He [The Root of David] is able to open the scroll [the Bible] and its seven seals.”(Revelation 5:1-5)
Since the Bible has been sealed and no one except the Root David is able to open the Bible, we should seek the spiritual David in the last days. The Root David who will appear in the last days is the Second Coming Jesus (Revelation 22:16.)
Christ Ahnsahnghong who restored Zion with the feasts of the new Covenant
Today, all churches keep man-made teachings such as Sunday, Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving Day. It’s because the truth of the new covenant disappeared by Satan according to the prophecy of the prophet Daniel.
He [Satan] will speak against the Most High [God] and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. (Daniel 7:25)
According to the prophecy, the law of God had changed one by one. The Sabbath day was changed to Sunday Service. The Passover was abolished. Instead, all Christians keep Christmas which originated from a pagan festival to celebrate the birth of sun-god. In other words, the way to the kingdom of heaven disappeared. So, the Root of David is to come to open the secrets of the Bible. According to the prophecy, Christ Ahnsahnghong came and restored the new covenant. He is the spiritual David and the Second Coming Christ who fulfilled all prophecies of the Bible including the prophecy of David’s throne.
Christ Ahnsahnghong foretold that He would pass away 4 years before His death in an interview with the Weekly Religion Newspaper on March 18, 1981. Who can know when he would die? Christ Ahnsahnghong came to the earth according to the Bible and ascended to heaven according to the Bible. The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother as the Savior of this age. The Bible says that the Spirit and the bride are to give us the water of life (Revelation 22:17.) The Spirit is God the Father according to the Trinity. The bride is the wife of the Lamb. The Apostle John witnessed that the bride is the Heavenly Jerusalem. In Galatians 4:26, the Heavenly Jerusalem is our “Mother.”
But the Jerusalem that is above [in heaven] is free, and she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26)
The Church of God also observes the Sabbath day and the Passover. Many Christians think that such feasts as the Sabbath and the Passover were abolished through the blood of Jesus on a cross. However, there are two kinds of laws in the Bible: the law of Moses and the law of Christ (1 Corinthians 9:21.) Jesus came to make the Law perfect, not to abolish the law.
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17)
Although the World Mission Society Church of God follows the teachings of the Bible faithfully, there are some who slander the Church with false and malicious information. One of them is Steven Hassan. He is attacking the Church of God with false testimonials of former members. Mr. Hassan is slandering the Church by distorting the teachings and the history of the World Mission Society Church of God and by mixing the teachings of the Church with the doctrines of other churches.
Who is Steven Hassan? Does he have something to do with the World Mission Society Church of God? Mr. Hassan has a title called “Cult Expert.” But, we must be note that “Cult Expert” is a self-proclaimed title, which means that he has never received this “Expert” title from any school or governmental agency. He is a licensed mental health counselor, which means that he is not an expert in religion. Most especially, his religious experience in the Unification Church affected his views on religion.
Steven Hassan has limited knowledge about Christianity. Moreover, he has nothing to the with the World Mission Society Church of God. Then, why is he slandering the Church of God with false information? From the above video, it’s clear that he uses religion to make money. He is marketing his books including “Freedom of Mind: Helping Loved Ones Leave Controlling People, Cults, and Beliefs” through videos he has made. He uses the BITE model to judge the World Mission Society Church of God as a destructive cult. However, as you see from the video at this page, the BITE model is not based on the Bible.
Mr. Hassan is promoting religious hatred towards the World Mission Society Church of God although he is not in a position to judge other religions. Please beware of so-called “Cult Experts”. They will destroy your families with false and vicious information towards specific religious groups. The only standard of judgment should be the Bible.

The Bible testifies about Christ who will save mankind. We should diligently study the Bible to know who is the Savior of this age. While surfing the Internet, you might have encountered the name Steven Hassan who is attacking the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG). Is the World Mission Society Church of God as bad as he said in his videos?
The World Mission Society Church of God is globally well-known for sharing the values of ‘love, peace, happiness and the respect for life’. In recognition of its devotional services, the WMSCOG has received a lot of awards nationwide and worldwide, including the orders of merit, medals of honor, presidential citations, certificates of commendation, plaques of gratitude and letters of thanks.
However, the problem is that those who do not know the World Mission Society Church of God might think the Church is destroying families and spreading eschatology if they watch one of Hassan’s video about the Church of God. Mr. Hassan is slandering the Church of God with false and malicious information as you see from the above video. He is cunningly distorting the teachings of the World Mission Society Church of God.
From the above video, you can realize that Steven Hassan is using so-called ex-members. The two former members are telling something not taught by the Church. Their answers are even wheeled by the questions of Steven Hassan whose religious background is the Unification Church. He must have thought that the Church of God is a similar one with the Unification Church. Mr. Hassan is distorting the teachings of the World Mission Society Church of God by mixing them with the doctrines of other church.
Steven Hassan uses a model named the “BITE Model” to brand the World Mission Society Church of God as a cult. Also, his BITE Model has nothing to with the Bible. Is it reasonable to decide whether a religion is a cult or not using a man-made method such as non-Biblical BITE Model? The only criteria should be the Bible. God allowed us the Bible. We should rely on the Bible to determine whether a church is true or not.
The World Mission Society Church of God believes Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother as the Spirit and the bride according to the Bible (Revelation 22:17) and observes the New Covenant including the Sabbath day an the Passover by following the teachings of Jesus. It’s hard to understand the truth of the Bible with our physical eyes. Even the Pharisees and the religious leaders of 2,000 years misjudged Jesus and they crucified their Messiah on a cross. It’s prophesied that Christ would appear a second time to bring salvation (Hebrews 9:28.) Without meeting the Second Coming Christ, we cannot be saved in this age. Please rely on the Bible, not man-made methods such as the BITE Model of Steven Hassan.
